The military council bombarded Thandwe town and Myebon from the air, killing many residents

On September 25th and today (26th) Airforce attack on Rakhine State, Thandwe town and Myebon township, by the Military Council, resulted in the death of 13 local residents and at least 25 injuries in There Thandwe. It is reported that an (11)-year-old girl and a (38)-year-old man were killed and seven (7) were injured in Kanghtumgyi city.

Yesterday (25th) due to an airstrike by the military council, the bombs fell on the houses near the northern monastery and the school in Kanghtumgyi city, Village Thayar Ward. 11-year-old Ma Shwe Zin Win and 38-year-old U Maung Than Htay were killed. Daw Ngwe Sein Hla, 72 years old, and U Aung Hla Oo, 75 years old, were seriously injured.

According to Thet Htwe Naing news agency, more than 60 AA soldiers were killed and around 30 were wounded when the military council bombed the ULA/AA’s military security office and land inspection offices in Kanghtumgyi, Myebon Township.

On the 26th, the military council attacked Thandwe town again with an airplane, and two bombs fell inside the township hall and the environmental protection office, killing 14 refugees and injuring at least 25.

During September, the Military Council carried out airstrikes across the country and bombed the areas under the control of the Arakan Army (AA) such as Pauktaw, Thandwe, and Myebon town. In addition to the bombing of Maungdaw City on September 9th and Taungup town and Taungkho Rawma Sub-Township on September 24th, prisoners of war and local residents were killed en masse.
