Pavel Durov, the CEO and billionaire who founded Telegram in 2013, is (39) years old and was arrested by French authorities on an arrest warrant yesterday evening (24th) while landing at Bourget airport outside of Paris by private plane.
Pavel Durov is a Russian citizen and the founder of Telegram and VK social networks. Later, in 2014, Russia left for Dubai, UAE, due to Russian authorities demanding the personal information of Telegram users and restrictions on VK’s social network.
Pavel Durov is known to have become rich after founding Telegram and is also a big name in Russia. It is also known that Pavel Durov has sold the VK personal network to someone else.
French authorities said 39-year-old billionaire Pavel Durov was arrested on a warrant for alleged violations related to Telegram.
