In the 2023 election, Phu Thai Party was only the party with the second highest number of votes, but the leader of the Move Forward Party, which received the most support from the people, is a reformer. Charged as a party to cancel the opposition to the protection law for the royal line and prevent him from forming a government. Application for the post of Prime Minister is closed. The last party was dissolved by the Constitutional Court, and the government was formed in cooperation with 10 allied parties.
In the election of the new prime minister, all the alliance parties did not put forward a candidate for the position of prime minister, and the majority voted for the candidate supported by the Phui Thai Party, so Pei Jung Thanh became the prime minister of Thailand.
In the 2023 election, the Move Forward Party won the most votes nationwide, with the second most votes being the Phu Thai Party. However, after the Move Forward party lost the prime minister’s post, the party was disbanded as it attempted to reform the Thai monarchy.
Srettha Thavisin, who is currently serving as the Prime Minister of Thailand, was forced to resign due to an ethical breach, and the Pheu Thai Party’s Peyton Tan Shinawatra won the Prime Minister’s position after winning the majority of the votes.
