Yesterday, October 1, Iran attacked the Israel city of Tel Aviv with hundreds of missiles, amid repeated warnings by Israel and the United States not to involve Iran in the ongoing war between Iran-backed Hezbollah and Israel. This is what Iran said about why this attack happened.

“Hamas leader Haniyeh, Hezbollah leader Nasrallah and Iranian General Nilforoushan are retaliating for the assassinations. If Israel attacks again, it will use a thousand times more force than it does now,” Iran said.

Regarding the attack by Iran, IDF spokesman Daniel Hagari said, “The war we are fighting is not against the people. We are fighting Hezbollah. We want to make it clear to the international community,” he said, adding, “We will retaliate for this attack.”

The situation of increasing the speed of war between Hezbollah and Israel in the Middle East

In a speech at the 79th United Nations General Assembly on September 28, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned Iran not to attack Israel and warned Iran that if it did, there would be dire consequences.

The war in the Middle East is getting more intense now. As Iran attacks Israel, the conflict may become more complicated. Israel is opening a war front against Hezbollah, but now it is not clear whether it will open a new war front against Iran. But Israel has said that it will respond.

US President Joe Biden has said the US “fully supports” Israel. But he said his administration was still in talks with Israel about what kind of response would be appropriate.

“We have to get all the facts straight and we are in constant communication with the Israeli government and our partners and we will continue to monitor that,” President Biden was quoted as saying by CCN.
