The Department of Meteorology and Hydrology has announced that from September 20th to 25th, due to the speed of the cyclone, there will be heavy rain in central Myanmar, Rakhine State, Chin State, Mon State, Karen State and Karenni State.

The storm may cross the central coast of Vietnam tonight and continue to intensify at the same speed on September 20. As the cyclone has crossed the southeastern regions of Myanmar, it may continue to move west-southwest and it is likely to strengthen as a low pressure area in the Kapali Pin field and the Bay of Bengal.
