When it was very difficult to import goods to Rakhine State, where the fighting is raging, it was learned from a local news agency that a husband and wife of a trader lied and ran away saying that they would send goods to Rakhine State.

At present, the military council has closed land and waterways to Rakhine state, and it is known that U Nyi Pu or Aung Myint Soes, a resident of Sittwe, defrauded (38) Rakhine merchants of goods worth more than 200,000 kyat and fled.

In order to export goods to Rakhine, 38 Rakhine merchants had deposited money with U Nyi Pu or Aung Myint Soe since July, and the goods have not arrived until September. After that, it was learned that U Nyi Pu (b) Aung Myint Soe, the money swindler, escaped with his wife.

It is known that the goods to be exported to Rakhine include basic foodstuffs, medicines, consumer goods, and motor oil.
