The National Unity Government (NUG) announced that on August 26, the No. 2 Military Region attacked Bago Division’s Taung Ngu Air Base with kamikaze drones under the direction of the Southern Military Region JOC.
People’s Defense Forces (PDF) of the Southern Military Region No. 2 under the National Unity Government (NUG) attacked the Taung Ngu Air Base of the Military Council under the name of Operation “Rain of Fire”, killing 8 people, including a colonel from the Military Council, and injuring more than 20.
In that attack, it is known that the Armed Forces, Shah Htoo War Technical Team, KLOUD Drone Team, KNLA Brigade 2 Battalion (5) and Special Battalion, People’s Defense Battalion Taung Ngu District No. 2 Battalion (3502), Central Military Headquarters and Nay Pyi Taw Military Headquarters were involved in the attack.
Last August 20th, the Mountain Knights Civilian Defense Force (MKCDF) attacked Taung Ngu Air Force Base controlled by the Military Council with shock missiles, and it is known that there were deaths on the side of the Military Council.
