On August (16th), military council announced that the Central Supervisory Board for Public Security and Counter-Terrorism has been formed. In that formation, it was learned that an order was issued on August (23rd) to form a militia group consisting of 10 (10) men between the ages of (35) to (65) years old in every ward. The military council also instructed that the (10) group must attend up to (1) military training.

It is known that the military council’s conscription law has reached the 5 of the week and women have started to be brought in as well. The militia group is known to operate mostly in areas controlled by the Military Council. In the Irrawaddy region, women from the age of (18) to (35) years old are being recruited to serve in the military. It is known from the locals that some have been arrested and brought into the army.

It is also learned that 10 elderly men between the ages of 35 and 65 were selected to form public security supervision in Thayarwati town of Baguio province under the control of the military council, and they were ordered to undergo military training for 1 month at 35 Thayarawati districts.

The Military Council is concerned that the military defeat of the revolutionary forces will lead to a military offensive against the controlled areas, so militia groups are being formed. The militia strategy of the War Council is that the people are forced to work against their will, and if necessary, they can be sent to the front line of the battle.
